Big John & Little Debby's opened in 1989 in the Edgebrook/Sauganash neighborhood on the northwest side of Chicago, located just off the Edens expressway. We have been involved with the local schools, churches, the neighborhood baseball little leagues, and the Boy Scouts for many years. We believe in supporting the community that has supported us for the last 16 years.
Our company philosophy is very simple. Top 5 F's, Friendly, Fun, Fair, Fully Stocked and Family Oriented. We want you to bring in the whole family and enjoy yourself while you are here. We strive at being up to date on current industry knowledge (Who's Hot, What's New and so on) as well as the history that is in our industry (Vintage Players, History of Sports, What Villain killed Superman, and Who Framed Roger Rabbit).
At Big John & Little Debby's we have many promotions going on throughout the year. Throughout the school year we have "Topps of the Class" work hard in school then bring in your report card and receive sports cards free. Become a Big John & Little Debby's Rookie and work your way to our Hall of Famer. Every time you come in and spend $5.00 or more you get your card punched and when you fill your card you move up a level (Rookie, Major Leaguer, Veteran, Hall of Famer). Become a HOF and receive special discounts and VIP to special events. In April there is "National Card Trade Day" Big John was instrumental in keeping "National Card Trade Day". He was part of a 4 person panel discussion at the 2005 Hawaii Trade Conference that influenced MLB to bring back "National Trade Card Day". Way to go Big John!
Whether you collect single sports cards, sets, comics, toys, or memorabilia we have something for you. We are always bringing in new inventory. If you need supplies check out our Ultra Pro selection. Our store is stocked from floor to ceiling so when you come to visit us make sure you look up. We like to come up with new ways to display stuff. Come in and find that perfect gift for any collector or just to bring back that lost childhood memory. Come see what Mom threw away while you were at camp that one summer.
